Advantage Village Academy (AVA) is a 501(c)(3) organization in south St. Petersburg providing educational and wealth-building education for youth and families. With a brand new website through the Social Justice Fund shared services support, AVA wants to let more clients and donors know about what they’re doing in the area.

Founded by Toriano Parker in 2007, AVA also offers tutoring programs, after and before school care, summer camps, GED prep, internships, and entrepreneur development.

AVA seeks to empower Melrose and Jordan Park’s economically disadvantaged residents with training and financial literacy workshops to help pave the way for greater generational wealth, income, and security.

Offering a business incubator, AVA brings education and resources to help design and implement programs that will lead disadvantaged individuals, organizations, and small businesses toward a path of financial stability and self-sufficiency.

AVA also holds the annual “MLK DREAM BIG” PARADE and FAMILY FUN DAY FESTIVAL at Tropicana Field, and its ANNUAL PINK BOWTIE GALA for Cancer Awareness. For more information, visit the Advantage Village Academy website.
