The Social Justice Fund Helps Nonprofits Fulfill Their Missions
After four years of giving, the decision to rename the PCF fund came from a natural progression and acknowledgment of our grantees’ work. Since it began, the Social Justice Fund at Pinellas Community Foundation has awarded over 35 nonprofits working in communities and economies long-plagued by the inequitable distribution of resources with capacity-building support services, training, and over $700,000 in financial awards.
How Does the Social Justice Fund Work?
The Social Justice Fund is a privately administered, donor-sponsored entity founded to support 501(c)(3) organizations with annual budgets of $100,000 or less. We focus on nonprofits serving the following zip codes in Pinellas County: 33701, 33705, 33711, 33712, 33713, 33714 and 33755.
If you are a nonprofit in Tampa Bay with a social justice imperative as part of your mission, working within the specified zip codes, and are interested in learning what the Social Justice Fund can offer your organization, please send us a message.
Note: The Social Justice Fund only provides support to nonprofit organizations and does not provide financial assistance to individuals.
