Senior Citizens Services (SCS) Fund

Helping Pinellas County seniors thrive—through strategic support and strong community partnerships.

The Senior Citizens Services (SCS) Fund provides grant support to nonprofit agencies that help improve the quality of life for Pinellas residents age 55 and older.

Through this fund, we invest in services and programs that support independence, well-being, and connection for older adults—ensuring they can continue to lead full and empowered lives.

How It Works & Why It Matters

SCS Fund grantees are 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations and government agencies that are selected through a competitive application process. All grant proposals are carefully reviewed based on:

  • Community need and potential for impact
  • Ability to complete proposed programs or projects
  • Commitment to serving Pinellas residents age 55+

Pinellas County has one of the largest populations of older adults in Florida. The SCS Fund is an essential resource for addressing the unique challenges seniors face—ensuring access to nutrition, healthcare, social connection, mobility services, mental wellness, and more.

With the support of generous donors and committed partners, the SCS Fund helps our older neighbors live with dignity, purpose, and joy.
