“We have an incredible opportunity—and responsibility—to step up as community leaders and be part of the solutions our county needs.”
After a successful career in commercial real estate finance in Atlanta, William “Bill” Sturtevant brought his expertise—and heart for service—to Clearwater, where he quickly became an engaged civic leader. As President of Senior Citizens Services, Inc., Bill helped steward an $11 million donor-advised fund dedicated to supporting senior-focused nonprofits across Pinellas County. When it came time for SCS to partner with a larger philanthropic institution, PCF was the board’s unanimous choice. That partnership eventually led Bill to join PCF’s Board of Governors, where he continues his commitment to improving quality of life—especially for the county’s growing senior population.
Bill brings a unique blend of banking acumen, entrepreneurial insight, and hands-on nonprofit leadership to his work at PCF. He is especially passionate about affordable housing for seniors and believes deeply in the power of private-sector collaboration to meet urgent community needs. His past leadership roles include Chairman of the Clearwater Downtown Partnership and founder of Bluewater Investments LLC, a global private equity firm focused on large-scale humanitarian initiatives. With a degree in Business Administration from Memphis State University, and decades of strategic problem-solving experience, Bill helps guide PCF’s mission with wisdom, integrity, and a bold vision for what’s possible.
