“I believe that cycles of trauma can be defeated in just one generation—if children are given the love, support, and trusted adults they deserve.”
For Robin B. Davidov, philanthropy is deeply personal. Her passion for supporting children, especially those in the foster care system, shines through in everything she does—from her work as a Guardian ad Litem and education surrogate to her commitment to ensuring safe, quiet, and accessible green spaces for all. Robin was drawn to PCF because of its reputation for truly knowing the community: understanding where the greatest needs are, and giving smaller, grassroots nonprofits the tools and opportunity to grow, thrive, and compete for resources. To her, PCF’s work is about heart, equity, and ensuring that no one gets left behind.
Robin brings decades of experience in environmental health and renewable energy, backed by a master’s degree in regional planning from the University of Pennsylvania. She has led groundbreaking projects in solid waste management and composting, served on national boards including the U.S. Conference of Mayors MWMA and Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering, and advised countless organizations on sustainable development. At PCF, Robin pairs her data-driven approach with compassion—ensuring donor investments create real, measurable change in people’s lives. She believes PCF stands apart because it doesn’t just fund nonprofits—it knows which ones are making the deepest impact, and how to strengthen those creating real, lasting solutions in our community.
