“Having seen Pinellas Community Foundation’s impact firsthand, I believe in its unique ability to bring people together to do lasting good.”

For Marion Rich, supporting community organizations isn’t just a passion—it’s a lifelong commitment rooted in service, gratitude, and belief in the power of connection. A Pinellas County resident for more than 35 years, Marion has spent decades championing local nonprofits, always with a heart for lifting others up. Her introduction to PCF came through the very organizations she served—nonprofits strengthened by PCF’s generous support. That firsthand experience now guides her work on the Board of Governors, where she’s helping grow awareness of PCF’s mission and inspiring deeper investment in the community.

Marion’s professional background includes ten years as a communications professor at St. Petersburg College and more than three decades of influential leadership across nonprofits focused on healthcare, social services, education, and the arts. She is the immediate past chair of the Morton Plant Mease Health Care Foundation and has served in key roles with 211 Tampa Bay Cares, the Girl Scouts of West Central Florida, the Junior League of Clearwater-Dunedin, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tampa Bay. Beyond Tampa Bay, she lends her voice to national organizations like Film at Lincoln Center and the Kappa Kappa Gamma Foundation. Among her many honors, Marion was named Ms. Clearwater, a Woman of Distinction, and was inducted into the GSWCF Women of Distinction Hall of Fame. Through it all, she remains focused on building an inclusive, compassionate, and opportunity-rich Pinellas County for generations to come.
