“What inspires me most about PCF is its willingness to act. It doesn’t just recognize where help is needed—it steps in and becomes a catalyst for change.”
For Kimberly Rodgers, PCF’s hands-on, responsive approach to community needs reflects the very values that have defined her life and career. A passionate advocate for equity and access, Kimberly brings lived experience and resilience to her work—believing deeply in creating a level playing field for those who are often left behind. Her dedication to economic stability, education, and justice is rooted in her own journey. “I was fortunate to have my entire education—both my bachelor’s and law degree—funded through private philanthropy. I understand the life-changing power of investment in someone’s future.” That belief now guides her role at PCF, where she helps ensure local funding makes a meaningful and measurable impact, especially for those facing systemic barriers.
With well over two decades of legal experience, Kimberly last served as Executive Director of the Community Law Program, a nonprofit providing pro bono legal services, education about legal rights and responsibilities, and outreach to vulnerable Pinellas residents. She has clerked for the U.S. District Court, maintained her own private law practice, and held leadership roles on numerous boards—including the Florida Board of Bar Examiners (as its youngest member at the time of her appointment), CASA, and Lighthouse of Pinellas. She now serves as the Chair of the Board of the Homeless Ladership Alliance of Pinellas. Kimberly has earned numerous accolades for her service, including the Jane E. Curran Distinguished Service Award, the St. Petersburg Bar’s Professionalism Award, and the St. Petersburg Chamber’s Woman of the Year INSPIRE Award. At PCF, she contributes her legal expertise, deep community knowledge, and unwavering commitment to justice—helping to advance the Foundation’s vision for a stronger, more equitable Pinellas County.
