“I knew I wanted to be part of a team that was helping the community through one of the most trying times we’ve ever faced—and what I found was a group that leads with heart, every single day.”

Dr. Brittany Baldwin joined Pinellas Community Foundation during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, transitioning from a career as a full-time musician and educator to help distribute critical relief to the community. That experience revealed the depth of PCF’s commitment—not just to respond in crisis, but to build long-term solutions rooted in care, collaboration, and equity. A passionate advocate for fine arts education, Brittany believes creative expression is essential for fostering empathy, connection, and opportunity—especially for children who may otherwise go unheard. Her work is fueled by a belief that when we invest in the arts, we enrich the entire community.

Brittany brings over a decade of experience in higher education, case management, and creative community work to her role. She has served as a professor and academic advisor at Georgia State University, Valdosta State University, and St. Petersburg College, and holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. At PCF, she plays a key role in supporting initiatives, amplifying outreach, and strengthening internal operations to ensure PCF’s impact continues to grow. For Brittany, PCF is more than a funder—it’s a bridge between people and solutions, helping to build a stronger, more connected Pinellas County.
