About the Dunedin Boat Club and Sailing Center Fund

This fund allows donors to make tax-deductible contributions to support the construction of a new Dunedin Boat Club and Sailing Center after the destruction of the previous building from Hurricanes Helene and Milton.

The Sailing Center will be a multi-use City-owned building and home to the Dunedin Youth Sailing Association, Dunedin Windlasses, Sailability Greater Tampa Bay, the Dunedin Boat Club, and other organizations promoting the sports of sailing, yachting, fishing, boating education and safety, and marine environmental stewardship for the City of Dunedin and the waters of St. Joseph Sound.

All donations are held and administered by the Pinellas Community Foundation. Funds are restricted for use only in assisting the City of Dunedin with the Sailing Center’s construction.

Whether you are a long-time member or a passionate supporter of sailing and community spaces, your contribution will make a meaningful difference. This project ensures future generations have access to quality programming and a welcoming waterfront gathering space.

Should this project not move forward, we are grateful to know that all funds raised will still make an impact by being shared between Sailability Greater Tampa Bay and the Dunedin Youth Sailing Association.
