About Daystar Life Center

Founded in 1982 as an outreach ministry of Saint Mary Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in St. Petersburg, FL, Daystar Life Center is dedicated to fighting hunger, poverty, and hopelessness by providing essential resources to our neighbors in need.

Our mission is to engage, educate, and empower the community by promoting the value of nutrition, good health, and financial literacy.

Our Services

We offer a range of services to support individuals and families in Pinellas County:

  • Food Pantry: Providing fresh produce, frozen meat, and non-perishable food items to those facing food insecurity.
  • Clothing Assistance: Supplying clothing and hygiene essentials to individuals in need.
  • Financial Assistance: Offering support with overdue rent and utility bills to prevent eviction and service disconnection.
  • Mail Services: Providing mailing addresses for individuals without stable housing.
  • Financial Literacy Programs: Educating clients on budgeting, saving, and financial planning to promote self-sufficiency.
