Donor-Advised Fund
Fees & Costs
For its services, the Foundation shall be entitled to collect from the donor-advised fund a sum to be set annually by the Foundation’s Board of Governors as an administrative fee, which shall be consistent with what the Foundation charges other donor-advised funds held by the Foundation. Administrative fees are used exclusively to support the Foundation’s mission-based operations and are your investment in a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to improving the quality of life in our community by bringing together philanthropy and solutions to local issues.
The institution where the Foundation invests the assets, will charge a monthly investment fee to the Fund, in accordance with fee schedules approved by the Foundation’s Board of Governors.
Total administrative and investment fees range from 0.55%-1.05% (annualized). Average fees are approximately 1% annually. The Foundation can provide Donor(s) with the total annual fees once investment recommendations are selected.
All costs incurred by the Foundation in transferring assets donated to the Foundation for the donor-advised fund shall also be paid from the Fund. Although very rare, the Foundation may charge additional fees for extraordinary services such as unique grant processing and review for international granting.
